Dear afshispeaks, I really like your quetion. At the age of 50, one should be careful in starting the exercise. the person who has started doing execise very early in his twenties etc., will not have to comply with any safety norms and need not worry about how much they need to do exercise during the age of fifty. But during the age of fifty only the person is to start doing exercise due to various motives like weight reduction or advised by doctor or some friends etc., Hence better consult your doctor, he or she will advise after studying the person's physical characteristics like height, weight, whether any sugar complaints are there, etc., Hence please consult your doctor at once. thanks

Good question.....I think the best exercise for above 50 people is Walking only.. Lifting hands will increase one's strength..this is simple to do also...so they can do this..Yoga is a very good body relaxation technique..they can exercise in their regular working time...for ex,taking steps instead of taking lift....
Before doing anything they should have a interest first...they have to make things which motivate their work..for ex,they can have a dog while walking...so ,even though they r not interested to walk...they have to move for the dog..If they r very much interested in doing exercise they can do aerobics too...
