It is very important to correct the insulin-resistance in PCOS while caring for the PCOS related symptoms. Fenugreek, Methi in India, (Trigonella foenum-graecum) promotes excellent glucose metabolism in the body and is a known home remedy for Diabetes. In the long run, it can promoteweight loss and moderation of androgen levels in blood. It also lowers LDL and increases HDL although there is no scientific evidence to support this.

Methods:

1. Fenugreek (seed) tea can be taking daily.
2. Have soaked (bitter) Fenugreek seeds (1 tspn)
3. Fenugreek leaves with all its bitterness can go to the diet.
4. Have 1 cup of cooked leaves.
5. Dry leaves for storage. Throw as a garnish or add to curries. You need 10-15 grams a day.
