We know that turmeric has a very important health benefits, one of them as anti-inflammatory and cholesterol lowering, but it turns turmeric has other benefits, namely to expel cough and reduce sore throat.

Why Turmeric Milk?
Turmeric milk has been around a long time, known as the ancient Ayurvedic medicine, but now many are using as a natural cough medicine, in addition to cough can also be used for sore throats and colds.

In this recipe we will combine the benefits of turmeric and ginger are said to have effects for sleep, plus the benefits of milk to help heal the body and soothe the soul.

  • 2 cups organic milk
  • 1 tsp. turmeric powder
  • 1/4 tsp. ginger powder
  • 4 black peppercorns, crushed
  • dash of cinnamon (optional)
  • honey or other sweetener (optional)

Here is how to mix (direction)
Put all ingredients into a saucepan, add enough water, boiled to a boil over medium heat. Let it boil for five minutes, then stir. Add sweetener, it is recommended to use healthy sweeteners such as honey. Pour into a mug and drink while warm.
