Go chic and stylish with humble pants

hey can look chic and elegant or add an edge like no other ensemble. Right from international designers including Paco Rabbane, CK, Armani Exchange, Dior and Ferragamo, everyone's played up trousers to look smashing.

Indian designers on the other hand fused desi silhouettes, Patialas with a lesser baggy look, Dhoti pants till ankle length and cropped pants with slim fit, shimmery leggings in festive colours and so much more.

Here's what is causing a fashionable rage, of late: Moto pants, jeggings, sequinned leggings, funky capris, flared trousers, cropped ankle length pants, dhoti pants, riding pants and harem pants, etc.

Flared pants:
A definite style for tall women. Women can look pretty and youthful in a pair of flared trousers. Actress Sonam Kapoor's fave outfit, flared pants are a big no-no for women with large frames.

Sequinned leggings:
It's by far the best way to look smart and festive. Manish Malhotra, Rina Dhaka, JJ Valaya, Tarun Tahiliani and Anupama Dayal have all sashayed this look for the current season.

Fusion dhoti and harem pants:
Moving away from the regular cuts of dhoti and harem pants, the fused look is the kickass avatar for a working woman. Dhotis go well with easy tees and can vary in length. Designer Pallavi Goenka played up this look on the ramp recently using silk and muslin fabrics. Designers Maheka Mirpuri and Babita Malkani find the comfortable and easy fit the best way forward for college-goers. Complement the look with simple accessories and your humble pair of pants will make you an instant headturner.
