  • Chestnuts, like hazelnuts and almonds, etc., are free in gluten. Gluten - the binding protein in grains that upsets the small intestine and causes many symptoms.

There are low calories in chestnuts.Chestnuts are used in treatment of pyorrhea.
These are also beneficial in fever.Chestnuts help to reduce stress.
