  • As I mentioned Earlier, Pecans are 'Heart - Healthy Nuts.' They help to reduce risk of heart related ailments..
  • Pecans have protein, vitamin E and oxidant properties which help in protecting the heart and reducing risk of hypertension. Besides, pecans contain zero trans fats.

  • Pecans are a rich source of fatty acid called oleic acid, the same Kinda fatty acid found in olive oil. THis may also help in reducing risk of cancer.
  • It is rich in tannins which are connected with prevention of various diseases including cardiovascular disorders and cancer.

  • Pecan nuts are the best antioxidants. Pecan nut contains vitamin E which is an another natural antioxidant that protects blood lipids from getting oxidized.
