Mineral Water

Water is very healthy for the body, so drink it while you are expecting a baby as your blood volume rises considerably during this time. It is recommended to daily drink 2 liters of mineral water that is equal to 8 glasses. If you have been vomiting a lot, drink plenty of water in order to rehydrate. As well, water may help prevent constipation, which is a usual complaint of pregnant women. Pass on fortified waters as they may include supplements or caffeine, which is not good for your growing little one also they have added sugar. If you don’t like drinking plain water, then add a splash of 100 percent fruit juice or some lime, lemon, or cucumber slices.

Fruit Juice

Drink different types of fresh fruits since they deliver key nutrients such as vitamin C and potassium, which your growing baby needs for proper growth. 1 glass of fruit juice a day could be the best way to get vitamins. Fruit juice contains nutrients which help encourage the healthy growth of your unborn baby. Stay away from fruit flavored drinks as they often do not have any nutrients and high in added sugars too.

Drink Lemonade

If you’re continuously queasy and throwing up half of everything you eat, then sour and citrusy lemons are perhaps the last thing you’d wish to reach for. However during pregnancy, morning sickness can become insufferable, and at this time, lemonade is the right thing to feel better. Lemonade contains vitamin C, which acts as an anti-inflammatory, strengthens your immune system, and decreases bloating and gas. In addition, it’s mostly water that you require a lot of anyway. If cold lemonade doesn’t sound tasty to you at present, try squeezing a lemon into some hot water or some weak tea to acquire the same advantages.

Low-fat Milk

Milk is a good source of calcium, a nutrient that fetus needs for proper growth of bones and teeth. As there is increased requirement for calcium during the pregnancy, try to consume 2-3 glasses of low-fat milk daily. Moreover, when you take in adequate amounts of calcium, it will also support the proper development of your baby’s nerves, muscles and heart. Low-fat milk is healthier in terms of saturated fat content as it has far less than whole milk, although includes the same amount of calcium. Select special milk for a pregnant woman that has been enriched with different vitamins and minerals, such as folic acid.

Decaffeinated Alternatives

Mostly we all like to drink coffee and tea, and if you are pregnant then choose decaffeinated versions in order to prevent too much caffeine consumption. It is being also said that high caffeine intake has been associated to miscarriage, so opting decaffeinated coffee and tea can help to reduce your risk of a caffeine-related miscarriage. Specific coffees and teas may even have antioxidants that help protect your health.

Coconut Water

Coconut water is naturally sterile, and particularly good during pregnancy with its ability to help maintain the health of the mother and the baby. Coconut water can increase good cholesterol (HDL) in the body, improve digestive function, strengthen immune system, help in the prevention and treatment of heartburn, etc. Coconut water can also help to enhance the levels of amniotic fluid which in turn develops the overall health of the unborn baby. Several women suffer from urinary tract infection during pregnancy, which can be prevented by drinking coconut water. It can even help increase the frequency and flow of urine.

Fruit juice. One glass of fruit juice a day could be the best way to get vitamins. Still, do not be concerned with drinking juice instead of water or not take vitamin provided by your doctor. Because it could be vitamins from fruits and vegetables you eat are not sufficient for your body.

Sport drinks. These drinks replace functions lost electrolytes substance when the body sweats. So, if you're active, sports drinks can indeed be an option. But, if you are not a lot of moves, this drink is not necessary. Drinking water is sufficient. Remember, sports drinks is not a substitute for white water and usually contain preservatives which was not good for health.

Pregnant women can also take organic supplements which provides necessary nutrition to body.
I hope this helps pregnant women's.
