Rose water and honey is to be taken in the ratio of (½ : 1) and applied on the face and rinsed after about ten minutes with lukewarm water. Honey is a good moisturizer and is safe and gentle enough to be used on a daily basis.

Apple (about quarter piece) could be peeled, grated and refrigerated. This could be applied for fifteen minutes and rinsed with cold water. Apple helps in soothing dry skin and gives it a wonderful glow.

A fine paste of one banana, papaya, peach or avocado could be applied and left to dry for twenty minutes and rinsed off with lukewarm water. This could be followed by moisturizing with natural vegetable oils or margarine. Aloe vera gel is excellent for soothing, moisturizing and healing of dry skin, in addition to removing dead cells.

Also just massaging dry skin with a few drops of olive or almond oil could work wonders for dry skin.
