Facial hair is always a cause of concern for most of the women like you. Waxing your fine hair on chin, cheek and other parts of the face will cause pain and shaving can cause thick hair and give an ugly and black look. This is because shaving does not remove the hair from the roots and thus new hair grows very quickly. Try the following home remedies to get rid of your unwanted hair on your cheek and chin.

  • Mix chickpea flour or chana lentils flour in water or milk to make a thick paste. You can add a pinch of turmeric powder and a tsp of fresh cream to this paste. Apply this on your face in the direction of the hair growth. Now leave it fir 25-20 minutes or till it is fully dry. Scrub it off when dry in the opposite direction of hair growth. This will give you little sense of irritation but when you scrub this paste your fine hair will also come off. This remedy when followed on regular basis or daily then will help to remove hair from face significantly on your cheeks and chin.
  • Make a paste using sugar, lemon and water. apply this paste on the face in the direction of hair growth. Leave it for 10-15 minutes and rinse it off with cold water.

* Mix 30 grams of sugar with 10 ml of freshly squeezed lemon juice in 150 ml of water. Mix well and then apply it on the face in the direction of the hair growth. Leave it on for 15 minutes. Then rinse with cold water, rubbing the facial area gently. The granular sugar and lemon mixture will act as a gentle exfoliating agent and remove facial hair. The lemon juice will act as an astringent and natural anti septic. Repeat once every week to find an improvement.

* Another remedy that can help in reducing hair growth on the face and remove unwanted hair is easy to make and use every week. Squeeze 10 ml lemon juice into 40 ml honey and prepare a mixture. Take a cotton swab and rub this mixture in the direction of the hair growth. Rinse after 15 minutes. Repeat twice a week for 2 weeks and then use it every week to find an improvement in the facial hair condition.

* An easy to use facial mask to help remove unwanted hair is to squeeze 10 ml lemon juice into a cup of water (150ml). Add 30 grams of Gram flour into this mixture and mix thoroughly. Apply this yellow mixture on the face. Wait for 15 minutes and then scrub your face in the direction of the hair growth to remove unwanted hair.

* Prepare a thick mixture of haldi, besan and curd. Apply t on the skin and leave it to dry. Rub off the mixture gently from your skin and wash off with water.

  • Make a smooth paste of gram flour with milk or water. To this paste add a pinch of turmeric and 1 tsp of fresh cream. Apply this paste on your face but make sure that you apply in the same direction of the hair growth. Leave it to dry and then gently scrub off but in opposite direction. Follow this home remedy regularly; it reduces the hair growth significantly.
  • Make a smooth paste of turmeric with milk and apply it on your face. Moving your fingers in circular motion, gently scrub off it. Then rinse it off with cold water. This is considered to be highly effective home remedy to remove facial hair.
  • With 1 tbsp of sugar and ½ tbsp of corn flour, blend 1 egg until it becomes sticky paste. Apply this sticky paste on your face in the same direction of hair growth. Allow it to dry and then peel it off in opposite direction. For best results, repeat this home remedy for 3-4 times in a week.
