Fever is usually associated with physical discomfort, and most people feel better when a fever is treated. But depending on your age, physical condition, and the underlying cause of your fever, you may or may not require medical treatment for the fever alone. Here are some home remedies for fever.

Basil:

  • Boil together 20 basil leaves, and 1 tsp crushed ginger in 1 cup water, until the solution gets reduced to half.
  • Add a little honey.
  • Drink this tea 2-3 times a day for 3 days.

Apple Cider Vinegar

  • Add 1/2 cup Vinegar to lukewarm bath water.
  • Soak in this water for 5 - 10 mins.
  • In about 20 mins, you will notice improvement.
  • Repeat again when the body temperature is high.
