Eating a balanced diet is very essential for maintaining a good heath and long life. A balanced diet will not deal with certain complications like obesity, hypertension, more cholesterol etc. A balanced diet is a combination of certain nutrients in right proportions constantly. A balanced diet will maintain blood glucose and cholesterol level in the normal range. This makes you healthy always.

The following things deal about the maintenance of balanced diet

1. Certain food include meat, poultry, fish, milk, cheese, eggs, grains, nuts, seeds and nuts are rich in proteins. However, avoid eating meat more than once a day will maintain appropriate proteins.

2. Eat bake or boiled food instead fried food. Because fried foods have high fatty content.

3. Greens are rich in vitamins, iron, and calcium. So eating greens everyday will strengthen the respiratory system and blood circulation. Calcium and vitamins are needed for strong bones.

4. Eating of fruits plays a vital role in balanced diet. Fruits provide fiber, vitamins, and antioxidants that are needed for our health.

5. Include a variety of grains in the balanced diet provides fiber. Wheat, brown rice, millet, quinoa, barley are some of the fibers which has been include in our balanced diet is necessary.

6. Drinking more water also helps to maintain balanced diet by avoiding dehydration. Dehydration will cause headaches, tiredness, and less energy.

7. Plan your meals before a week will maintain the balanced diet by having the nutrients in right proportions.

8. Intake of sugar and salt is to be limited to avoid problems like diabetes, arthritis, and osteoporosis.

9. Start a day by a healthy breakfast is important. A cup of milk and a single fruit is more than enough for a breakfast.

10. Drinking of alcohol will not help you to maintain the balanced diet. So avoid drinking to maintain the health well.

By following the above things, one can maintain a balanced diet for a healthy and happy life. Healthy life and fit body maintenance will make a person happy.
