  • Apply a small amount of coconut oil to your palms before drawing mehndi designs.

  • Once the Mehndi dried, apply a Mixture of lemon juice and a pinch of sugar to your hands.
  • You can use this liquid by dabbing with a cotton ball.
  • Leave it for about 15 Minutes.

  • In the intervening period of time, put a few cloves in the Pan and warm it up.
  • Keep your hands away and let the Clove smoke come up to them.

  • Scrape the Mehndi off with your nails after 2-3 hours.
  • Then Rub Mustard Oil/Baby Oil/Vicks(Pick any one of these) on your hands to improvise the color of Mehndi.

Notes
  • Don’t Wash your hands with Water at all for atleast 10-12 hours.
  • Design of Mehndi does Matters in deciding the final Shade.
  • The Broader/thicker the mehndi design is, the more there is color.
  • Allow the henna flakes off on its own.
  • At the beginning it will be light orange, then it will become dark orange and after 2 days it will be dark brown to deep red depending upon the skin type.
