how to make tamarind paste

it really very hard to extract tamarind water every time and also consumes lot of time. pls share how to make tamarind paste if any of you know.

try this method,

Ingredients
Tamarind - 1/4 kg
Hot water - 1/4 ltr

Method
Soak the tamarind (after removing the seeds and threads) in hot water for about 2 hours. Now blend it in the mixer and extract the tamarind juice and store it in an air tight container. The extract can be stored in fridge for about 1 or 2 months.

also some people make extract with cooked tamarind. Just before blending in mixer cook it in a pressure cooker for 1 whiste allow it to cool and blend it.
