Food intake ensures either the baby growth is healthy and active or not. If a mother is ignorant and neglects proper and balanced food intake then she might give birth to low birth weight baby. A pregnant woman needs to eat variety of foods and divide large meals into six smaller ones. Milk and dairy products must be in one of the daily meals as they help in fulfilling the need of calcium, protein and if you are lactose intolerant then consult your doctor.
