Many of us suffer from irregular periods, Let us have what causes irregular periods and how to treat it naturally.

Regularize the Menstruation

  • Boil some roots of banyan tree and consume with glass of cow's milk ant bed time.
  • Methi seeds and fennel seeds found to be helpful.
  • Eat one Sesame seed Jagerry balls
  • Drink grape juice daily. This regularizes the menstruation cycle. Raw grapes are also helpful. Excessive consumption of grapes results in loose motions.
  • Grind and boil some fresh ginger in a cup of water. Add a little sugar and take two or three times a day after meals.
  • Prepare decoction with bitter gourd roots and have once or twice a day. This helps in commencing periods.

Painful periods

  • Boil a raw ginger piece in one cupful of water and take this water 3 times per day after your meals. It is an efficient natural remedy for painful periods
  • Take 1 tsp of this asafoetida powder fried in butter or ghee twice in a day with a rice bolus. Then drink one glass of hot water. This is a very good home remedy for painful periods.
  • Soak a table spoon of fenugreek seeds in night and drink the water and eat the seeds in morning (empty stomach)
  • Try to cool your body by taking head bath drinking water, buttermilk etc.
  • Not only in menstrual days but also in all days drink atleast 3 liters of water

Heavy Bleeding Home Remedies

  • Cinnamon can be taken in powdered form twice daily. Otherwise, one can also take cinnamon tea.
  • Cook and eat one banana flower with a cup of milk to reduce bleeding.
  • Boil 2 cups water and a teaspoon coriander and reduce to a cup. Add a little sugar and drink two or three times a day.
  • Eat cooked amarnath leaves
  • Nettle tea is an excellent tonic for women and can help stop excessive menstrual bleeding

Very nice piece of information, to this please count this also,

Women must take rest during the Menstrual days so they can get rest physically and psychologically both. Then the hormones will be balanced well and also there wil be no problem in cycle.

Take Papaya fruit at the time of periods (three days continuously),This regularizes the menstruation cycle.
Powder two cinnamon pieces and take with jaggery, it reduces the pain.
Apply some castor oil in abdomen, it reduces the menstrual pain.

My case is opposite i have regular period but heavy heavy bleeding am 26 years old having two kids both are normal delivery

i have this problem from last 3 months

is there any remedy u have

thanks chitra. but i have a problem. my marriage is fixed on july14. but na two months ah date agala. in jan na 26 date ana. in feb 28.but ipo varaikum na date agala. pls enaku solution sluga:pray1:

There are certain general yoga Asanas, which are beneficial in addition to specific ones targeting the root cause. They are as follows:
  • Baddha Konasana (Cobbler pose, sitting)
  • Supta Baddhakonasana (Cobbler pose, lying down)
  • The Cow Pose (Gaumukhasan – extremely beneficial for irregular periods)
  • Janu Shirasana (Head to Knee Pose)
  • Virasana (The Hero Pose)
  • Supta Virasana (Hero Pose, lying down)
  • The Cobra Pose (Bhujang Asana)
  • The Half Wheel Pose (Ardhachakrasana)
  • The Lion Pose (For thyroid disorders)
These poses are aimed at increasing spinal flexibility, toning abdominal muscles, reducing stress levels, and regulating the endocrine system to restore hormonal balance. Some re-energize the energy centers of the body and help balance body functions. It is advised to do these poses for 3 to 5 times and hold your body in the stretched position for at least 30 seconds each time.Along with these Asanas, breathing exercises (Pranayama) are very beneficial to regulating the menstrual cycle.
