Hi Rama!

Welcome to Penmai.com :)

There is no such big side effects of regularly using sugar free...

But,, if you are not suffering from diabetes then no need to take sugar free. You can reduce your sugar usage and cut calorie without using Sugar free... Now a day’s Artificial Sweeteners are not only used by Diabetics but by all who’re Health & Calorie Conscious. Many starts taking artificial sweetener in teas and coffee and even sweets made by these sugar free artificial sweeteners are being popular these days.

Now coming to the Safety Profile of Artificial Sweeteners, Lemme explain that there are 3 types of artificial sweeteners…. These have either no calorie or very less calorie. Some sweeteners are non glucose carbohydrates.

Artificial sweetener without having any Calorie like saccharin, sucralose, acesulfame-K and cyclamates.

Aspartame
is another artificial sweetener, though considered as non caloric but contains some caloric value of 4 calories per gram.

The third type of alternative sweeteners is
non glucose carbohydrates like fructose, xylitol, sorbitol polydextrose, maltodextrose and isomalt.

The first sacharrin and second aspartame are most commonly used. There has been a long debate which led to hectic researches about these artificial sweeteners safety profile.

Sachharin is supposed to cause bladder cancer in rats while there was a myth of causing brain tumor by aspartame, but now after a long research it has been considered as safe enough for human beings. Yeah I got this info while googling..

However Its not recommended it to pregnant ladies as these may cross placental barrier and can be exposed to fetus, and also not to children as they are in developing phase and require calories.

Take Care!!

No Rama.

Please do not use Sugar free of any kind.

Though doctors do not deny to take this, I am telling you not to take, out of practical experience.

You will be prone to many physical problems in your later life.

You will have memory loss very soon in your life.

Instead of using the sugar free or any kind of artificial sweetner, you can use, very very small quantity of sugar or you can get practised to NIL - SUGAR. Initially, you may find it difficult, but only in a few days /months, you will get used to it.

Plz don't use sugarfree.. It's not good for health.. U can substitute with honey or brown sugar..
Deepika,

When she is highly prone to Diabetes, she can avoid these also. these may also tend to increase the sugar levels in some non- diabetic but highly prone, people, though they are very very good for health.
