Nowadays, it has become a fashion to celebrate the Kid’s birthday as a very big Party or Get together.

Both the parents and children enjoy these parties as they could have a very good chance to meet their friends and relatives.

Here are some tips to plan for the birthday parties.

· First and foremost is to decide, whether the party is going to be a big one or a small one. Usually, very big parties will be arranged for the child’s 1[SUP]st[/SUP] birthday.

· According to the decision, if it is going to be a small party, be sure, whether your house and lawn (if available) is enough.

· In some Apartments, Party halls are available in the Apartment itself. So, the relatives could be accommodated in the house and the party and catering can be held in the party hall.

· If it is going to be a big one, you can book a Party hall either in a small or big hotels according to the number of guests to be invited and according to your budget.

· Book the hotels or party halls well in advance to avoid disappointment.

· If the venue is nearer to your house, you will be a little tension free person, by avoiding the commuting distance.

· The next thing to be decided is the theme of the party.

· For this, many ideas are available like Cartoons, Animals, Toys, Food items, Vegetables, Fruits, Jewellery, solar system and many more.

· Once you have decided the theme of the party, the next thing to be arranged is the Cake, which is to be prepared according to the theme.

· Now, all the decorations in the party , like balloons, candles, food plates, serving bowls, Tables, wall hangings, wall decorations, everything should be arranged according to the Theme of the party.

· The Return gifts should also be arranged according to the theme.

· They can be of two types as, one type for the children and the other for the elders.

· If possible, the dresses of the child, parents, food servers can also be according to the theme.

· Next arrangement is the type and Menu of the food items.

· If you plan to have both veg. and non-veg. please arrange them to be in two opposite directions. Many vegetarians, may not like to bear the smell of the non-veg items and may feel embarrassed to eat, if both the items are kept nearer to each other.

· Ice cream is a must.

· Hot drinks should be strictly avoided in the children’s birthday parties.

· Next arrangement is the Photos and videos for the function.

· Few facilities like available of nappies/diapers, pure water, few kerchiefs/bibs, lots of chocolates, small plates and small spoons for the children to eat etc, can be arranged having in mind of the children visitors.
