Hi penmai friends,

please help me. my daughter is now 6 yr old. she is always left the half of food in her lunch box. whatever i give she is not eating fully... what i do what recipes i can give her for lunch. pls tel me some healthy and tasty recipes for my daughter

Hi Nithya,

I am mother of three , Most of the days I send stuffed Chapatti/Roti or Peanut butter/jelly sandwich. Weekly one day i give paneer chapatti. Here is the recipe.

shredded paneer - 1 cup (or) cooked mashed potato
medium onion - 1 cup - cut in to very small pieces
red chili powder - 1 pinch
garam masala - 1 pinch
fine cut coriander leafs - 2 spoon

Salt - according to your taste - 1 tea spoon

Add a spoon of butter in a pan, Add onion , fry in for 5 min in a medium heat.

add salt, red chili powder , fry for 2 more mins.

add paneer , garam masala , coriander leafs, Fry for 2 more mins then remove from heat , allow it cool for 10 mins



knead chapatti dough as usual - Wheat flour, salt, 2 spoon oil, hot water. Make lime size ball. Make a 2 thin chapattis. put the masala on top of one chapatti , close it with another and then roll it.

Put the chapatti in a hot pan ,add few drops of oil, smear it.

Flip it, press gently with spatula. (cook for 30 secs to 1 min).

Shredded cucumber/carrot raita/ Stuffed roti is the best combination.
