Methi Poha Recipe for Weight loss!!

Ingredients:

  • Poha - 2 cups
  • Fenugreek Leaves - 1 cup
  • Onion - 1 finely Copped
  • Green Chilies - 3-
  • Curry Leaves - 1 sprig
  • Lemon -1
  • Turmeric Powder - 1/2 tsp
  • Peanuts - 1 tbsp
  • Mustard Seeds -1 tsp
  • Chana Dal - 1 tsp
  • Urad Dal - 1 tsp
  • hing - a pinch
  • Salt to taste
  • Oil : 1 tbsp

Preparation:

  1. Wash poha & Drain. Keep aside.
  2. Heat a tsp of oil in a pan. Add the mustard seeds, chana dal, urad dal and peanuts and fry until they became golden brown.
  3. Then add green chilies, curry leaves and hing and fry for a few seconds. Add chopped onions and fry till the onions are translucent.
  4. Now add the fenugreek leaves and turmeric powder. And then Add the soaked poha and little salt & mix well.
  5. Switch off the flame and add the lemon juice to it. Serve it with hot.
