Hi Sathya,

Now it is little bit early to give the ragi koozh and apple.

The baby may not be able to digest the solid or semi solid foods within 6 months. But this may slightly differ with individuals.

But if you have already started this ragi koozh, try to give it as ragi kanji (in the liquid form) and not in the semi solid form for another 1 more month.

You can give the boiled, well mashed apple from next month (6th month).

And always remember, whenever any new food item is introduced and when the teeth starts coming, the child will surely experience loose motions.

Nothing to worry about this till it is quite normal.

But it is a must to give more water than usual if the child experiences loose motion. this will prevent dehydration.

At the same time, if the loose motions is continuous, the child should be taken to the doctor immediately.

For lots of tips, please click the below link, which may be useful to you.
