SOME USEFUL TIPS FOR WEIGHT LOSS
1. Slow down when you eat.
It takes about 20 minutes for your stomach to tell your brain that you are full.

2. Write it down.

The best way to estimate how many calories you are eating is to write what you eat in a notebook.

3. Keep things even.

Every meal should be about the same amount of calories. For example, if you should be eating 1,800 calories a day, consume 500 calories for each meal and allot 300 calories for snacks in-between meals. This means you can NOT skip breakfast and make up the calories for dinner!

4. Do not confuse thirst with hunger.

When your body is asking you to rehydrate, you might mistake it for hunger cues. Stay hydrated!

5. Be prepared.

Make your lunch the night before. Have healthy snacks (such as Larabars, fruit, Greek yogurt, etc.) in your purse/car/office to avoid hitting up the vending machine.

6. Do not expect weight loss overnight.

It is a lot harder to lose weight than gain it! Aim for weight loss of 1-2 pounds per week tops. You have to burn off and/or reduce calorie intake by 3,500 calories to lose a pound of fat. If you want to lose 1 pound per week, you need to eat 500 less calories per day or burn an additional 500 calories per day by exercising. Formula: 500 calories x 7 days = 3,500 calories = 1 pound of weight loss.

7. Change it up.

Avoid exercising and eating the same way all the time. Try a new exercise and a new recipe to keep from falling back into old habits.

8. Spacing between meals.

During the day, eat something every 3-4 hours. Allow yourself time to eat and remember that healthy snacks between meals is OK. Keep that metabolism going!

9. Get more rest.

Seven to eight hours of sleep per night will help keep your eating schedule consistent.

10. Enlist others to participate!

Motivate one another and share success stories!

If you want to reduce your weight, Following these Steps :

1) First of all You should Make a strong start with a can do attitude.
2) Eat fruits, carrots or nuts as snacks.
3) Eat small portions of food. Make sure that you eat food slowly. This will keep you fuller for long and help to absorb essential nutrients.
4) Strictly avoid drinking alcohol and smoking cigarettes.
5) Have a healthy and happy lifestyle. A stress free life is important to lose weight at a quick pace.

Hi,

Let me give u simple tips.

1) Remember one thing. Whether u need to reduce weight or not, the most important thing that your body requires is exercise. This way your fat mass will reduce and your muscle mass will increase.
2) Avoid non essential fats. But dont listen to ppl and stop taking almonds, walnuts etc. They reduce your bad cholestrol and increase good cholestrol called HDL. This is essential for your heart.
3) Drink a lot of water. Take lots of fresh fruits and vegetables. Do not cut down your food but try to substitute junkies with fruits and vegetables.
4) Most important thing which many of us miss is the SLEEP factor. Your body needs sufficient rest to repair itself. So, develop good sleeping habits and try to follow "Early to bed, Early to rise" strategy.

REDUCING WEIGHT INVOLVES A LOT OF THINGS. GIVE YOUR LIFE A HOLISTIC VIEW INSTEAD OF JUST CUTTING DOWN ON FATS AND EXERCISE. YOUR LIVING HABITS, FOOD HABITS AND SLEEPING HABITS TOGETHER DETERMINE YOUR BODY WEIGHT AND NOT JUST THE FOOD:)

Running is the best way for losing weight because it is one of the easiest ways for losing weight. And due to this it is prefer by people. After losing weight by running continue it because it is also very beneficial for improving body stamina. Keep away from Oily, Sweet and Junk foods which content huge amount of calories and fat.

Very nice ideas came out through so many of our members. However one has to follow the suitable idea to suit his physical condition. hence slowly start implementing the ideas. if any inconvenience you feel please stop. don't do vigorous exercise. if you feel tired stop it.
