Self injuring

Is it wrong to scratch and cut urslves to relieve off the mental pressure.it gives me some relief while doing so the pain which i suffer keeps the depression off me?My friend told me it is wrong..is it so?

Yup @Heartburglar Your Friend is Correct!! It May be a sign of a Psychiatric Disorder. Perhaps it gives some temporary relief from a feeling, but it isn't a good way to get that relief. For one thing, the relief doesn't last.

Go & get some exercises. It'll counteract the stress. Get into a Plan of doing something daily & One more, Stop taking everything so seriously!!

Life will work itself out & you needn't be such a Purist or Worrier either. TC!

Very Much unhealthy habit It is.. And Remember that All take it One Intense cut to end your life! Get Outside & talk/work with people who make you remember how enough lucky you really are..!!

There's Lot More ways to Come Out! But Everything is Upto you.

I tried to distract my mind in some other ways but couldnt..even if i try not to cut somehow i cut myself..

Hi Friend.. Both, your friend and Karthiga is right.....

"Self-Injuring" may gives u a temporary relief only by spoiling your own health by yourself... but not the permanent one.....

I dnt know the cause of depression... but did u think is all the people in the world are not depressed and happy all the time?! did everyone is harming themselves to come out of it?!

Just come out..
Change ur view on things...
Make friends and try to share your feelings...
Love your parents and spend more time with your family...
Always get engaged to do something(Dnt let your mind free)...
Think on ur passion....
Put urself on things you admire...
Love nature(everything in nature has a lesson/reason behind in creation).. listen to good music...
Read good books(like positive-thinking)..
Build ur confidence level..
Main thing isTrust urself...
Feel the beauty of your face when you smile(Try it in front of mirror)..
Play with/watch little childrens...
Help others(atleast in small things)... you will get extreme satisfaction...

This is how i will feel relaxed when i feel stressed... Hope it helps you...!!!

But please stop "Self-injuring" urself. Show all your harmness in acheiving your dream.
