You may try the following to reduce your weight.

You may avoid white rice and shift to Brown rice, which will play an important role in weight reduction.

You may take Oats products in the night time for dinner.

Your dinner should be within 8 p.m.

You can take 5 to 6 small meals instead of 3 big meals. You should not take stomach full meals.

You can avoid all fried items.

You can avoid sugary items.

You can take Green tea without milk, 4 times a day.

All the above will help you to reduce your weight.

My gynecologist asked me to reduce 5 kg, can anyone help to reduce weight within one month
Dear Sathyapriya, If your gynecologist advised you to reduce 5 Kg weight in one month, you have to follow the tips given below for quick weight reduction:

The best way to lose weight is exercise and eat healthy, eat everything but in small portions, have a light dinner, include lots of fruits in your diet and water. Have proteins everyday.

Join a gym do aerobics, by doing aerobics you will lose weight fast and your waist will become good as well.

Reduce your carbs intake at night, if you are having normally 2 chappaties at night means you reduce it to one.

Hope this helps.

Exercising any time of the day is good but be consistent, if you are walking do brisk walking not leisure walking.

Avoid snacks (if required take raw vegetables like cucumber, radish, beetroot, sprouted moong dhal(pachchai payaru), onion and fruits of your choice )

Please don't skip breakfast due to your busy schedules in the morning. Have Idly, dosa, chappathi or any oats preparation for breakfast.
Drink lot of water.
Avoid Non vegetarian food or deep fried items.

Hi Sathyapriya,

Exercise is the only way to reduce weight. It will only be maintained. So, please follow the same.

Exercise and proper diet are very important to lose weight and improve fitness. Avoid all high protein food like meats, nuts, grains, cheese, fast foods, fried and dairy products. Eat fresh fruits, vegetables, yogurt, drink green tea, fruit juices and plenty of water. Go for walking, running, cycling, practice push ups, bench press and chair squat. It burns fat,make strong bones and muscles, boost energy, improve heart functions and improve fitness.
