Hi Archana!

At 3 years, you can expect a kid to

Say her name and age
Answer simple questions
Speak in sentences of five to six words or complete sentences
Speak clearly
Tell stories in part or full

You can teach her

Alphabets
Numbers
Identifying Colours
Some Slogams
Rhymes
Shapes

Archana,

What our Deepa has told is totally correct.

Apart from these, you can teach her to know the address of your place, (atleast the main area, though not the full address).

Little by little, you can teach her to see and find the time from the wall clock (she should be very well aware of the small and big needles of the clock).

She should be taught about the GOOD AND BAD TOUCH.

She should know to brush her teeth on her own.

She should know to clean herself after potty.(This should be taught in an extensive manner after where and how to clean her private parts). This will help her , when she goes to school.

She should eat her food by herself, without spilling outside.

She can be taught about the world and its main countries, with the help of a GLOBE. By next year, she will teach others.

You can start teaching indoor games like chess, carom etc. along with the outdoor games, which they will play by themselves without our guidance.

In short, at this age, whatever big or small matter , you teach, they will grasp them very easily.
